Be *very* careful: there are components in a monitor that can store a
very high voltage (Tens of Thousands of Volts) for a *long* time.
Monitors and TVs are not to be messed with if you don't know exactly
what you are doing. (You may, but others reading this may not.) And
always follow the "keep one hand in your pocket" rule that Amateur Radio
operators are taught to follow when dealing with high-voltage stuff.
