I'm in the same boat! Though I use Borland C++ also, I have *alot* of
man hours invested in BP apps.

There is a patch available called BPOS2 which will patch BP 7 to make
it compile to an OS/2 platform. I've used it alittle bit, but haven't
had time to really give it a good thrashing. It's not an ideal solution.

If you find you simply must convert the code... try something called
Guidelines (available on FernWood area of IBM BBS's).... again, I haven't
had a chance to use it alot, but what I see, I like!! You must have
compiler(s) for the target platform: Borland C++ for OS/2 and/or
Borland C++ 3.1. It will compile to Windows and OS/2 PM platforms using
the same "source". It's very visual and easy to use, and generates
C++ code which you can "massage" to your hearts content!

This is the real reason I'm replying to your post: I struggled with TV
for a month or so before feeling totally comfortable with it: now I've
been using it for about 2 years. There is no basic difference between
TV 1.0 (which came with BP v6.0) and TV 2.0 (which comes with BP 7.0),
but I would *definately* recommend you upgrade to BP7 - the biggest
single reason being for being able to compile Protected Mode apps. If
your apps are big, you'll want this!! As for TV itself: I find it
really quite good. My biggest dislike about it is the method of setting
colours for your app. IMO, it is well worth the effort in learning it:
but be warned: you MUST be totally comfortable with OOP to be efficient
 with it!

 Regards,
 Kai.
