subject: Beanie and Cecil Dolls

Hello All!
Actually, I don't need a Cecil, but wanted to make the
distinction between the Beanie Doll and a Beanie baby which I'm
not looking for!
A wonderful friend of mine told me that her daughter had
purchased a Beanie doll back in the 70's for 50 cents at a
military garage sale. The daughter had kept the doll for a very,
very long time and then, suddenly, the doll was gone. Her mom
would really love to find another one to give to her daughter as
either a Christmas gift or birthday gift.
Beanie was fairly large (I'm thinking he was about the size of
Mrs. Beasley), wore teal colored cordoroys; he had a molded
plastic head, and his beanie was also molded plastic. The
propeller turned. The majority of the doll was stuffed; his
shoes were rubber.
Please let me know if you have one that you'd sell or if you know
where we can find one.
Thanks!
