Hola Maurice :)

Thank you very much, Maurice. Your message clarifies some doubts :)

Should not binkd be included in a possibly future package for points?
I imagine what your answer will be ;)

Ftp is something to have in mind, yes.

I would prefer to use the standard Fido soft first. If something in it
needs improvement I would like it to be so if possible rather than using an
inet protocol.

FTD>> Did not find either msged nor golded available for installation.

 MKhttp://sourceforge.net/projects/husky and you

Yes, I also downloaded that from the beginning. It would be helpful to find
it as a dependency in the debian packages. Or a clear list of excatly what
is needed. Remember we are talkig of soft for points. Nodes do not need so
much guidance, but for a few like me ;)

Now, that's a short, concise and to-the-point description :)

Aha, I understand. It need not be so if what is available is easier to
install and configure.

FTD>> ¨What is husky? What does it do?

Ok, so, it needs a transfer agent and an editor.

Do you happen to know how far the plan to make a
"What do I need for a point?" doc which was Under development ... in 2000?

FTD>> Does it call or poll my uplink?

 MK> No.

I see.

Hey, you could try and write a tutorial, eh, Maurice? ;)

MK> Obviously not. My list gives the barebones minimum relating to Husky.

Yes. Not being skilled with the system and a few diffrent programs to
configure makes a bit hard to understand.

MK> If you, or her, require a working example then feel free to ask.

When we get really desperate ;))

Thank you, Maurice. You're being veru helpful.

Felipe :)
