This visual stuff looks like something I can handle. Or, at least, simple enough to not discourage me from the start. I want it to be fast, so my programs will run well. I want to be able to configure my GUIs easily. And I think REXX would be a lot easier the C. Does Watcom's VX-REXX sound right? Or should I bite the bullet and get some sort of Visual C thing? If I'm going to learn one language, should that be it? And is Visual C as friendly as Visual Basic, at least in the basic construction of the GUIs. Thanks a lot for the reply--Nick PS--Are those guidelines what you expected? I'm a rookie as far as programming but I learn quick! ___ Blue Wave/QWK v2.12 --- GOMail v1.2 [92-0177]* Origin: The Data Center BBS - (305) 436-5070 (1:369/121) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 SEEN-BY: 711/430 807 808 809 934 712/353 623 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 369/121 83 74 32 135/459 94 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 54/54 @PATH: 711/808 809 934 |
