Most probably me - I didn't listen to the tones when it worked on the
weekend, but this time around I did listen (well, when I eventually got
back to the PC I did) .. that was *wierd*;  why does the Viper decide to
change tones in the middle of a V.34 answer to some high-pitched vibrato?
