OEM XP Home is very tricky - it often won't accept a retail code.  It never
accepts a Pro or corp code.  It sometimes won't accept a different OEM Home
code from the same OEM!  And you have to call the OEM, if you want to be
strictly honest.  Procedures in Bangalo^H^H customer support departments
differ.  So may your apoplex^H^H experience.

There's even a KB article on how the goddamn spavined REPAIR CONSOLE breaks
when you install SP1 on an OEM copy of XP-anything.

Now what was it you were saying about XP being unrestorable?
