unless, of course, all those SOM files and directories on the CD-ROM were
lying to me. :-) (FWIW, it was the LA version that didn't include SOM.)

You neglected to mention that all documentation is provided electronically.
It's no substitue for printed docs, IMHO, but it *is* there.
