The file by now should have been replaced on all fidonet systems, with an
empty zip who's diz says "Please delete this file".  We sure do
not want cracks distributed... :(

I've been looking around the Web at the various Dr.Web sites (there are a
few, I believe, one Russian, one English) to see which part of the product,
if any, is allowed to be distributed by people like us .

At first glance it looked like there are some 'add-ons' that were
downloadable, but I think we all know (or should) that sometimes a company
will NOT let a distribution service like the FileGate or FidoNet
(re)distribute their software/addon's, etc..  These companies need to be
contacted first unless they explicitly say, "distribute at will"
.

I think what needs to be done is that after I've had a chance to really
examine all the files distributed thus far, we should contact the owners of
DrWeb and find out what they consider OK, and Not Ok :)

Then if there are some files (say the addons) that would be acceptable to
them for us to distribute, then arrange something with them if we need to
do so. Know what I mean, Gert?
