Hello Roy -

CA>> Programmers should program and turn the user interface and
CA>> documentation over to non-programmers to test and modify
CA>> for average users.

RJT> Sounds like an opportunity for somebody...

Only if the priority was to create something useful for as many
people as possible without regard to egos and self
aggrandizement.

I've had ugly arguments with programmers who insisted that they
didn't care if the text was too small to read comfortably for
long periods of use and that everyone should own a three-button
mouse. Sounds foolish and petty but it's too true. :-\

RJT> This goes for the commercial stuff, too. I can still
RJT> remember encountering a package almost 20 years ago,
RJT> something with one of those 1-word package names that
RJT> Lotus came out with, I can't recall which one it was now.
RJT> I sat there and looked through all of the literature that
RJT> came with the damn thing, and after all of that I still
RJT> had no idea what the package DID! And I still don't!

Sounds like a description of 'Allways', an addon to create more
elaborate graphs and charts. I used it at work. :-)
