Hey Jame!

I think that is what it was called. I also haven't been doing much along
that line but did manage to encorporate some of that into a 'daily fortune'
robot for posting in a local Fido sysop echo. That worked really slick. I
can see how it has potential as an interBBS thingy. Works better/faster
then the simular hpt one.

I think something like that has potential. Also thinking something like
this could be used for nodelist tools.

I forget now. Probably things like 'fortune'.

Don't really need that since a text file could be encorporated in a cgi
script and thus doesn't require all the tags to be stored in the file.
This way the best of both are readily available. Same could be said for
any other format.

I have doubts that it would be and like I say it really doesn't matter
since the output to any client could be easily taken care of.

HPUX is still big endian. VMS but I am not aware of anyone using that anymore.

JC> Also; if you have a Sourceforge account, I could add you in to

I did but I haven't really used it for quite some time and I am not sure it
exists anymore or if I can remember the password. Also I am not a big fan
of Sourceforge. Seems to me that a suitable Fido echo could be exploited
without either of us having to jump through any hoops. I could turn on the
Perl echo again if you think that would be best. I am easy on the subject
of proper echoes. The perl echo would be fine with me.

JC> still use the CVS repository at the ftnpl sourceforge project as the

Okay. I'll have a looksee and we can take it from there. I still would
prefer a Fido echo for discussion, etc. I think it is a good idea and
there definetly is potential.

Life is good,
Maurice
