Sold out in one day!  That's what happened.
Exclusive Toy Products, the same company that put out the excellent 3 Stooges 
9 inch figures in January, came out aboout 2 weeks ago with the first of 
their new figures - an absolutely gorgeous set of figures of Laurel and 
Hardy. These figures went exclusively to Target stores, and were issued in -- 
get this -- quantities of ONLY 8351 for each figure, for the entire world. 
You heard that right, a little over 8000 of each figure to satisfy world 
demand - forever. Talk about a truly limited edition...  :)  And the figures 
and packaging are absolutely breathtaking.  Each figure comes in what looks 
like an old fashioned room, with a ladder, pie, and paint can as accessories. 
Each figure is dressed in cloth clothing.  I can't describe how cool these 
are.  You have to see these to appreciate them.  They are stunning.
The "street date" for these figures was kept secret by the company, so that 
"hoarders" would not gobble up the tiny supply.  And they were released in 
different areas at different times.  Basically, if you found them, you just 
got lucky.  From what I heard, nearly every Target store - including the 
store in MY area, sold out in less than 6 hours.
I have one set of these figures for sale, if anyone is interested.  I am 
asking $35.00 for each figure, FIRM.  In 3 months, they will be worth double 
that.  And who knows where they'll be in a year.  Most of you folks are never 
going to even SEE one of these, but if you want to be one of the 8300 people 
on Planet Earth who gets a set, I have this ONE set I'd be willing to sell.
