Hi! Richard, On 09 Oct 07 14:01, you wrote to me: PQ>> I've checked the BFDS listings and my own filesbase: nada. I just PQ>> found a listing on my friend Rick's BBS for a thingy called NLR: PQ>> nlr001.zip, about 80k small. Here's the description for it... That NLR turned out to be a fizzer. I FREQed it later from Rick's system and tried it out. It refused to do anything for me, and in fact my input to its query screen wouldn't even display while I was typing search text. Mind you I am running MS-DOS 7.01 in a DOS-box under Win98SE, so maybe there was 'something' going on there. RW> Had a good collection of bfds stuff up through early '97 or so all RW> archived on floppies and some on zip drives. THanks for checking that RW> out I don't have the full BFDS file collection, however I do get the BFDS files listing published by Ben whatshizname (just kidding: RITCHEY - hi! Ben). I couldn't see anything like a nodelist search utility there though. RW> IF you've an idea how it could be done with something from the RW> collection of bfds utils indeed post it, I'd love to give it a try. I could certainly do it, given time. I've done a few other text file utilities in BATch already; e.g. a FREQ front-end for binkD/Argus/Radius/Taurus using the SRIF method, and a simple TIC handler for a point system (or a node without any downlinks). My favourite BFDS tools are: NSET, a little bit of PSIS and some IFNUMBER. :) Cheers, Paul. ...
