RT>Are the Gluco tabs available over the counter or are they by
RT>prescription only? This could go a long way in understanding the
RT>schools actions. Knowing what is in a pill does not necessarily
RT>exonerate one who illegally distributes it, even if it is a benign
RT>substance.
The tabs are over the counter. In fact, I refered to "Life-Savers"
candy as well named because that is what many diabetics carry in place
of the tablets. They have about the same sugar content.
RT>I agree that if the student that provided the pill was punished, the one
RT>accepting it should be also.
Well... In my final opinion, NO STUDNET should have been punished till
the lab reported the pill's content.
As I said. As a cop, You would not jail someone for pushing nartocics
till you are SURE IT IS NARTOCIS they are pushing.
You need a suspusion to detain someone breifly, But then you do the
research before filing formal charges.
The Schools don't do this... they act on the suspusion only and don't
even do the barest research into what happened. This is wrong.
