It came to pass on 12/26/96 that DON BOMER wrote concerning Publications...

You can do FTP by email. Send a message to the following:
mail-server@rtfm.mit.edu
In the body of the message put:
send usenet/new.answers/internet-services/access-via-email
That should get you a copy of Dr Bob's Guide to Offline Internet Access.
Tell me of the result, I havn't tried that address for about a year.
The guide contains information on how to get files from any public FTP
server sent to you as uuencoded attachments to email messages, but
sending the right commands in a message to a FTP-EMail server. It also
contains information on other internet services that can be recieved
through email.
