DosWriteAsync was dropped -- it basically created a thread with each
call to write the data in the background.  You can emulate it if you
really want to.  The DosSem... functions can be used by properly
defining them for 32-bit 16-bitese conventions and calling them IF your
compiler properly supports thunking (I've done it with CSet/2 to access
a 16-bit system semaphore used by older programs).
