I found the answer!  I had to add a TypeExact statement to fastlst.cfg, and
edit the nodelist to give you a CSP flag (which nobody else in Oz has),
then compiled it so that when I call you now, ModemTrans disables the 3429
symbol rate.  There should be no more /NONE connects now (touch wood).
