Marketing hip from ZyXEL USA :-). The code released by ZyXEL Taiwan for 
Europe and the code realesed by ZyXEL USA for Nth. America is _absolutely_ 
the same. ZyXEL USA just won't support users with f/w that are not 
"officially" released by them. 
BTW, Phone lines at both sides of the Pond are made from the same copper :-).
