There are 7 FidoNet, continental zones.  Everything "above" that,
from Zone 8:
to Zone 8888: is a FidoNET technology network that is *NOT* part of FidoNET,
but is -- in fact -- an "OtherNet".  Node numbers that contain a
'9' are test
mailers sending out test mail and have not been assigned a node number as of
yet.
