sounds like your OLE stuff has been altered from what the above are looking 
for... the repair is fairly simple but also requires the viewer disk for the 
presentation program... can't remember the name of it right now... it's only 
one disk... generally the last one... basically, you save the OLE*.* files 
and a couple of others and then install this last disk... this process will 
put the proper OLE and related data files back in place. it will not replace 
them if they still exist in the directory...
this is a common problem in the windows environment, OS/2 irrelevent... one 
of the most common culprits that causes this is installing the compuserve 
terminal program. it changes the OLE files without regard to their version 
level... there are others that do the same type thing and the easiest fix is 
as i partially described above... i'll have to try to remember to bring home 
the details tomorrow so i can post them...
