Thanks!  It is great to be back even though the echo traffic is rather
low.  I'd heard it was bad but didn't realize how bad.

Actually only got to a couple.  One was in Idaho and I did buy a book
and a very small amount of material.  Didn't want to overload the 5th
wheel any more than I already had with a large tote of material from
home!  :)

Tried to get in touch with Theresa Merkling but they hadn't arrived in
S. Dakota yet.  Called Nancy Bird but it was not meant for us to meet
this time...maybe this year.  Beverly Cohen, Linda Cummings and Jennelou
Truitt met us and we spent several hours showing off stuff and gabbing.
Missed Carol Surzinski because I had it im my mind that she lived in N.
Carolina so was going to look her up when we got there.  Here we were
right on her door-step and didn't even know it. I could have kicked
myself you know where.  Called Sandy Shuff while in Ohio and asked if
she remembered me...she did and we had a great visit.  This next journey
I will really have to get my addresses in order and keep checking them
as the old memory cells aren't what they used to be.  Didn't get to your
area but we are talking about going to see Lynn and Chris and then get
to you and Doris this time.  Will let you know when our plans are more
definate.  Won't leave until late August as our youngest is getting
married Aug. 16th.

You mean like the early morning walk we were taking...I looked down the
road and said to Ron.."is that a BEAR coming towards us?"  Right then he
(the bear) stood up on his hind feet and sniffed the air...I wanted
nothing to do with the bear and he apparently wanted nothing to do with
me as we both turned on our heels at the same time and headed in
opposite directions.  I do believe I was travelling faster than he was!
