As you may have deduced from my (somewhat) quick response to the Southern 
Star Echolist Expiration Warning Robot, I am indeed paying attention to this 
echo.
This may come as a surprise to you, especially if you have been heeding 
certain comments about how I don't care about what goes on here, or that I am 
more interested in my "three other echos".
So in the interests of informing the new, and reminding the old, let me again 
describe how this echo works.
I am the moderator of this echo.  I am also a tool of the forces of Chaos.  
As such, my moderation style is extremely light.  I have two rules for this 
echo:
[0]  All messages must be about philosophy.
[1]  See Rule Zero.
If you want to make an ass of yourself, you are generally free to do so.  It 
is hoped that more mature echo participants would then show you the error of 
your ways.  If you fail to learn, it is conceivable that I may eventually ban 
you from this echo through some interpretation of Rule Zero.
If you don't like the fact that certain asses are spewing their vomitous goo 
in this echo, then you are encouraged to [1] educate the asses in question, 
or [2] ignore the asses in question.  You are also free to follow any other 
path that does not violate Rule Zero.
