Hey, Fran,
I have Stoodley's Genus Amazona. It was hard to find. Do you know if it
is out of print too? If not do you know anyone carrying it for sale? I
have a friend wanting a copy.
Count is up an running, two new peach front conure babies and a new
green cheek conure.
Do you get Fast Ads? Someone told me about someone selling a bunch of
uncommon pyrhurra conures in the Fast Ads. Things like Souances, Yellow
Sideds, fallow green cheeks (Davis Koffram and Howard Voren had some I
think), Black Caps, Painteds, Pearlies, etc. Just wondering who it was
in case I win the Lotto...
BTW, do you know Davis? I talked to him a few times several years ago
when he was selling his pyrhurras, trying to buy them, but someone had a
bid in before me. If you do, do you have an e-mail address on him? I
would love to contact some of the people that breed wierd conures. I
have those "Aztecs" Aratinga Vicenalis, rather "Olive Throateds". Was it
you I got an address from a while back for some? There was a lady named
Denise, and I forget the last name right now, in Texas that used to have
some, but I think she sold them. Someone on this echo left me info of
someone in Tx I think that might be able to help me get another hen.
Was it you that gave me the info? If so do you remember the guy to
contact? It's getting to be the time of year I re-stock. When I have
babies I can sell that is when I pay bills and get stock I need. I think
you said that you don't go to the auctions but have a friend who does.
Isn't there one near a Military base or Brownsville or something? i used
to get notices but have not lately. If you have a friend that goes to
the auctions, maybe they would be willing to look out for a Olive
throated for me. Maybe if a dealer buys some they could let me know who
got 'em. Also if any Red Bellied Macaws happen to go through. I guess
they'd be from a seizure or something.
Well, thanks, TTYL,
Barbara
