RS> Fraid you did, it was YOU pushing PQWK in the first place.

PE> You don't "push" a product by calling it
PE> the biggest heap of shit you've ever seen.

RS> Pity that was AFTER pushing it.

I don't recall pushing it, I only recall calling it a heap of shit.
I certainly push becoming a point, maybe you got confused with that.

PE> If you choose to use stupid software, that's your problem.

RS> So stop trying to tell me what I should run. I am
RS> quite capable of working that out for myself thanks.

Just don't try blaming your out-of-spec messages on PQWK, or rather
me.

PE> but just don't send me out-of-spec mail when I've
PE> told you that PQWK250 is sending me out-of-spec mail.

RS> Soorree, you never ever DID tell me that I was sending out of spec
RS> messages. I KNOW I dont send messages with embedded origin lines.

Yeah, like I said, that bit was partly my fault. For all I knew,
you were being careful about not sending me origin lines.

RS> And even the MSGID isnt even a spec in the sense of an FTS ANYWAY.

PE> FTS-9.

RS> Soorree, it specifically say thats OPTIONAL.

PE> Yes, it's optional, but if you choose to generate it, you have
PE> to follow it. YOU were generating it. YOU were not following it.

RS> Crap.

It's NOT crap at all.

RS> Thats complete crap too, BBSs dont strip all
RS> kludge likes PARTICULARLY the MSGID and REPLYID.

PE> They do before sending you a QWK packet.

RS> Fraid they dont.

Fraid Maximus does for starters.

PE> I DO get to proclaim that you send me in-spec messages,
PE> and FIX your software when I discover that you are not.

RS> Which I did, I have NEVER sent you an out of spec message after you
RS> pointed out ONE message which contained a MSGID between an SOT/EOT pair.

Yeah, that is fair enough. Just don't come back and complain
that it was PQWK's fault that you did it again, when I've already
told you how to correctly operate PQWK to strip kludges. If you
are as careful with kludges as you say you were with origin lines,
then there is no problem. Good luck. BFN. Paul.
