I doubt that you can fiddle with those things loaded by config.sys

DEVICE=N:\MPTN\PROTOCOL\AFINETK.SYS      
DEVICE=N:\MPTN\BIN\VDOSTCP.VDD           
RUN=N:\MPTN\BIN\CNTRL.EXE

but you can manually clear and restart with
'route'
'ipconfig'

(ref. \mptn\bin\setup.cmd)
