 In fact BASIC is a _very_ good language for starters. Maybe with GWBASIC
 and earlyer you could learn some bad habits, but most of them are
 gone with QBASIC. It was very easy for me to move from BASIC to Pascal
 and now I program very good with C & Pascal.
