  The building here is 20 years old already. We bought it under
  construction and nothing was ever done to the lines. Again, this
  morning, I see a 50,666 rate on connecting. And it is not DTE, it is
  DCE as DTE would not vary from day to day and I set my DTE at 115,200.

 Did I say TELNET ? Nope, I use my ISP AOL, I connect to Doc's URL
 at bbs.docsplace.org via Zoc and it D/Ls to BW "Down" folder where
 it then finds the .qwk. I tried all versions of Telnet but I love Zoc,
 it gets me a full screen and is useable when on cable too.
 If you want to try Zoc, I would give you a pointer in its use.
