Here's a novel idea. Buy a modem which properly handles Adaptive Answer.

Who from ? In all seriousness, Banksia would be best of the local stuff.
To the best of my knowledge, all the local stuff use the Rockwell
chipset and Banksia are the only ones who rewrite *all* the code.
