Ya! I think you got that one right. I'd been setting him up for awhile 
on the "reponsibility" issue; if you recall, that was his favorite 
word. I could never quite get him in a postition where I could 
respond with "a persons first responsibility is to themself" in a 
manner he would be forced to accept.
