Well, one of the things I liked best about the Gibson guys is that they'd
bring us something, we'd say "Man, that's crap!", and they'd kinda shuffle
their feet and say "Yeah, we know". They'll admit when they personally don't
think something is the quality it should be. (And that's they way it should
go.)

I had a 20 minute arguement with the PV rep on how loud the hum should be
from a tube amp (answer? no hum), but he insisted that our little Classic 20
was "normal". (I sent it back anyways, and got one that was 100% quieter.)
Sometimes that "blind company loyalty" gets in the way of making the product
better.
