Yup. I was in the middle of the upgrade when I saw your note.

It "stalled" 3 times, once saying it couldn't find an entry point
in a de-registering dll, and 2 times when trying to install devices. Had
to power off, and let the computer reboot, and the setup restart, but on
the 4th time it ran do completion, and everything _appears_ to be there,
and fully functional. Now doing all the patches/updates. I have a local
copy of most all the XP patches, so I applied them from our server, rather
than downloading them all again.

All does appear to be working fine. The start of the install (system
check) only said that the installed Lexmark Optra drives might not work, so
I deleted the network printers before I started, and will re-install after
all the patches.

This is on a Gateway laptop. Heck, it even carried our VPN software
forward with the upgrade, so, at least at this point I'm happy with the
results. I know that's all subject to change though.... But,
I'm the eternal optimist (yea, I know, Murphy was an optimist too).
