Not Sega. I've used the 'net to purchase a number of things from commercial
establishments without any problems (know what you're buying, and use a
credit card to pay so you have recourse to your cc company if there's a
problem). I've also bought & sold a few things with private parties; mostly
good experiences (most people are honest), though I had to complain to the
Postal Inspectors on one deal (he cashed my check but didn't send the item, a
$95 pocket organizer/computer)... about 2 weeks later the item arrived
priority mail, return receipt requested.
The paranoia about credit card numbers over the net is much overblown;
nothing is likely to happen that couldn't have happened in the 5 minutes the
waiter had your card in a restaurant.
