Hi all,
   I recently purchased a sun conure named Sunny. He is perfectly tame
now and even speaks after only 3 months of having him. He was hand
raised and fairly tame when I bought him but there were several trouble
spots that I needed to overcome with him. I bought the book "Training
your Parrot". This is a fairly good source of information. There is one
part of the book that I have a bit of a problem with though, "The
Tameness scale", a 10 step scale. Its a listing of things that your bird
will allow at each step. Its supposed to be a guideline to how tame your
Parrot is. The problem I have is that there are some things at each
level that I can do and some things I can't as yet so where does Sunny
fit on this scale? Thanks for listening, any advice, tips, tricks
welcome.
