I hardly know the laws of the Province of Quebec. In fact, I am not too 
good even in its language. However, here in Ohio you can probably fight 
that ticket if you rationally and respectfully tell the judge just what 
you told us here. If you are a member of a local bike club you might want 
to get them involved and some of the more avid riders might be there as 
expert witnesses to corroborate your argument.
