 So your friend says IF it wasn't a bomb?  That is the
 question that has been going on... A timer to a small
 detonator dropped into the tank COULD have caused the
 ignition...
 With the Billions of hours of Boeing aircraft flights
 how many fuel tank explosions have there been. I have
 4,000 hours in B-52s and other Boeing experience.
 B-17, B-29, B-50s, KC-97 and do not ever remember a
 fuel tank explosion... except due to flak or cannon
 fire...
