Last night when I was trying to get OS/2 to work, I got organized
with the fixpacks, downloading # 17 from the OS/2 BBS, and since
I had already made the disks, I decided to install it (I have
reinstalled OS/2 3.0 and it still had the problem with the icons
not appearing on my desktop).  Anyway, the fixpack solves that
problem.  It's a great shame it decided to corrupt my hard disk
first.  :-(  

BTW, I will now be polling at my normal times hopefully.
