SV>You could fill the listbox with 'empty' strings and use an array to put in SV>the listbox contents. The only problem is that sorting the listbox is more SV>difficult and you will have to write some code to display the listbox SV>contents (use the ownerdraw style). There is a file on Fernwood called SV>HUGELB, which has examples on how to implement this. Eeeww!, I didn't want to get that complicated with it. Basically I just wanna load up a BIG log file and view it. I have since started using the MLE, but I miss the ability to have the text scroll as I move the "thumb tab" on the scrol bar, not after it is released as with the MLE. Also, postitioning the text to show the bottom of the file is a little more tricky. I have to make an asumptio about the number of lines visible in the box in order to do it. I can't just query it for it's height like I can with the WC_LISTBOX. If I had a MLE that changed in size with the client window as I have done in the past with LISTBOXes, the tehcnique I am using would be a lot more tricky. I guess PM can' do everything though and I am going to have to get used to the fact that I am going to have to resort to more drastic action eventually.. ___ * MR/2 1.52 NR * Rush Limbaugh for president! --- WILDMAIL!/WC v4.00h* Origin: Freezing Point BBS - WDNet HQ - Mpls MN: (1:282/85.0) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 413 430 SEEN-BY: 711/807 808 809 934 942 712/353 623 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 282/85 1 270/101 396/1 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 54/54 711/808 809 @PATH: 711/934 |
