JENS ORTENHOLM had something deep to write about Registration JO> But does it really force people to register ? You can't FORCE people to register, you can only influence them. The number of programs written to break anti-copying schemes shows how far some people will go. The trick is to find a way that makes it easier for people who like the unregistered version of your program to register it than to dump it or reinstall. You can defend it so well from unregistered use that no one uses it or registers it, or you can leave the whole thing out there where registration gives the user nothing new but a clean concience. Something in between is bound to work better. * KWQ/2 1.2f * I'm allergic to cat pollen. --- QScan v1.10b / 01-0093* Origin: (1:381/123) SEEN-BY: 12/2442 54/54 620/243 624/50 632/348 640/820 690/660 711/409 410 413 SEEN-BY: 711/430 807 808 809 934 712/353 623 713/888 800/1 @PATH: 381/123 900 3615/50 229/2 12/2442 711/409 54/54 711/808 809 934 |
