It would help if you told us that S.A. meant San Antonio, Texas. This is a
national echo, and if I hadn't looked up the area code I'm sure there
must be lots of other places it could be. (But as I'm not in your area, I
can't really tell you where to look anyway.)
We just recently had a discussion that the best value was probably a
Savage. It is difficult to find an FAL for less than about $700 without a
scope. Of course, a Savage is bolt-action while an FAL is semi-auto, but
for a sniper/target rifle speed is not a big consideration. If you've got
time to aim, you've got time to work the bolt.
Bottom line - a scoped FAL will probably cost around $900-1000 at a
guess, while you can get a Savage and still have money left for the scope
and mount from $700. In fact, they offer a package deal called the
110FXP3 (synthetic stock) or 110GXP3 (wood stock) which comes with scope,
mount, case and accessories for under $500, but I don't know how good
that scope is.
