DW>Just wondering if anyone out there is interested in getting an DW>expansion for their C64 which would sample audio and play it back under DW>software control. I've got a working prototype up and running which is DW>capable of playing back multiple recordings (up to 20 seconds max). It DW>takes audio from a CD player or the C64 itself. Hmm.. interesting. I made an audio-digitiser a while ago for the 64 - based on an amiga design. It used an ADC0802 (I think). The quality was reasonable but nothing to write home about. As good as the datel one if that gives you any ideas. It pluged into the user port. Playback was through the 64. DW>Based on the ISD10xx family of speech recorders, it's cabable of better DW>than telephone sound quality (the 12 sec device is very clean). DW>Software is still in development.....anyone interested or got any DW>ideas? ISD10xx ?? Never heard of it! Can you give me some specs on this chip? ie how many bits, whats the maximum recording rate in khz etc. What kind of preamp do you use also. Mine is just your everyday op-amp. cya, Errol --- Ezycom V1.05 00f90038* Origin: WOW BBS - Commodore Suport, Sydney's West (3:713/888) SEEN-BY: 50/99 54/54 640/316 711/807 808 809 929 934 712/623 713/317 700 805 SEEN-BY: 713/888 @PATH: 713/888 54/54 711/808 809 |
