PE> Yeah, but adaptive answer means if the other bloke can't be bothered PE> replying properly, IT'S A FAX! Are you completely fucking thick or what? I've already told you that if a modem calls, YOUR modem should issue it's modem connect tones, UNLESS it hears fax CNG tones from the remote, in which case it will issue its fax tones instead. Either way, your modem issues its connect tones FIRST. Is that such a difficult concept for you to grasp? PE> So it could be your end not responding properly too. Nope, no fucking way at all. Sorry. PE> Anyway, I have switched off adaptive answer, because I was unable to call PE> using the fax at work. The modem is unacceptible. Well it's about time you woke up and realised that. We've been telling you so for ages now too. PE> I wanna Yum Cha. I'll see if I can get onto this PE> person who sells to normal people V.34 for $195. Why don't you simply buy a modem which works, then LEAVE IT ALONE ???
