Have you ever picked the pieces of a glass bottle out of your face and
hands after its explosion? :-) The most glass bottles are unable to face
cooking water without exploding. Maybe it works once, maybe twice or more
times, but one day ... I don't want to take this risk, I need my hands and
my face ;-)

In German echoes and newsgroups they told me to put some ascorbin acid
into the tea (for example lemon juice) and to put it into the fridge. One
user told me to cook the tea with the half of water and then to mix it
with ice water. One had the same idea like you, but as I said ... :-)
