G'day Jan, 
  Using the Telemate script you can use LogOn filename,then LogPause, 
LogResume and LogOff commands which will capture the incoming data to the log 
specified in filename. You can check if the log file is open  or not by 
value 1 is open and 2 is paused. I have not tried running two separate 
logs at the same time.
