Because I have downlinks that want TransX or UUE transfers, and Irex offers
that along with BinkP in one package. I am also running Windows, and Irex
works very well under that environment. If I switched to Linux, I would
likely run binkd, because it works very well under Linux.

Only in regard to the modem protocals described in that document, which
doesn't reflect the reality of this network today, and therefore shouldn't
still be in that document.
