As repeated! .......my own take that both religious and scientific
views are in for a surprize (NO evidence...gut feeling)!
.....a forest big enough to hide much from both in many trees!!!
Having read most of your postings over the last few years, I know
you can well handle your positions within or without anything
resembling agreements. Though continued arguments are possible,
I've about exhausted mine; and began repeating myself. As "Creationism" ,
"evidence", "evolution" and such cousin views have been extensively
addressed by all sides with little changing of mind or new arguments,
I might have one inquiry still bouncing around in my own thoughts-
That pair of questions that I might ask-
1. *IF* given the opportunity to save two souls at the cost of your own,
how would you so act on it?
2. If a Christian did make such a sacrifice to do so, what might it mean?
I know the questions can be double-talked around to bury, avoid or change
their prime thrust. I would hope you would not answer that way. It is
Just some of those rhetorical thoughts I've played over in the curiosity
of my mostly atheist mind; that do not really stumble clearly into any
suspected answers. Having asked the questions before to some Christian
friends, I even wonder if such should be asked again (the past answers
received were painfully expressed ......most often that they could not,
or would not, make such a sacrifice!
