  You're right! I'd forgotten about that. My brother had a $600 radar
detector and no one offered him compensation for what was legal when
he bought it.

  It annoys me. Pollies are trying to suck up to the gun lobby but
they're wasting their time. They'll hate us anyway. It's what they do
for a living... hate. I'd just ban SLRs and add draconian penalties so
they take it seriously.
