True... but then, what WOULD prove that it was an alien craft and aliens,
(living and/or dead)?  AFAIAC, there is EVIDENCE that SOMETHING was found
the Uncle Sam did his darndest to clamp the lid on, (with very limited
success), but you are quite correct, there is no PROOF that this is what
it was.  How do you explain that the FIRST news reports in the papers
AND in the radio station said ONE thing, (supporting the alien story),
and within HOURS the FCC walked in the door of the radio station and
said, in effect, ONE MORE WORD about any "alien spacecraft" and your
station is off the air - INSTANTLY AND PERMINANTLY!"...?  C'mon, Jack,
the Govt. doesn't move THAT fast for ANYTHING unless they are in a VERY
big hurry to shut something up!  And if it WERE a Project Mogul baloon,
wouldn't they have saved themselves a lot of trouble and diverted
attention by letting it be said it was an alien craft?  OF course not,
it was a time of national paranoya, and official admission that someone
from another PLANET, fergawdsake, would probably have panic in the
streets.  But a WEATHER baloon?  Get real!  They would have been
better off, IMO, saying it was a secret test airplane of ours that
crashed.

Was it a FLYING SAUCER, (specifically round and flat), or was it a UFO,
(_U_nidentified _F_lying _O_bject of any description and source)?

Did it appear to be intelligently controlled?  (As opposed to a baloon,
blimp, large bird, meteor, unusual cloud, ball lightning etc.)?  If it
was intelligently controlled and NOT of earthly or natural origin,
please speculate on who was at the controls?

But you would have no way of knowing - unless you worked at Area 51,
that is.  (And I'm reasonably sure that you didn't and didn't know

Granted.  However recent surveys indicate that a majority of Americans
now believe that ET's do exist and that they ARE visiting us.
