I don't know of any off-hand. The only possibilities that
come to mind would be "The Panther" or "The Crusader" BBS.
Another might be "Pennsylvania Online", George Pease's (the
"head man" of Fidonet's) BBS/Internet Service. George carries
the ENTIRE backbone plus most, if not all, of the USENET news-
groups.

Yes, with a communications program with some good scripting
tools (QmodemPro, Telix, etc.) and an offline reader (Edward
DiGeronimo is considering writing a GEOS-based .QWK reader if/
when he gets the SDK). If you are unsuccessful otherwise, drop
me a card at:

or email to cmsallek@dinfsvs.com or cmsallek@aol.com
I have been waiting for the OS/2 ver. of the BBS software
that I bought before setting up a BBS in earnest. Also, it
will depend on whether I decide to set up an Internet Ser-
vice about 15 miles southeast of here as to when and where
the BBS will be located. The OS/2 ver. is in wide-beta now.
One nice feature of the BBS program that I will be running
is that it will prepack your .QWK packet for you if I set it
up that way. Therefore, you would just have to log on, u/l
your replies and download the .QWK packet... you don't have
to wait for the .QWK packet to be put together for you.
Also, it will allow you to "FREQ" a file in your .QWK pac-
ket... you would just send a message to the BBS and it would
automatically find it and include it in your .QWK packet.
