Yes, I knew that but I didn't know why text which flashed full screen, went 
bright background in dos box when I had 4dos setup for blinking text.

I was going to ask if you knew how to switch bright background off in win95 
but I've just read in 4dos help that it's not possible....
In windowed mode, 4DOS cannot control your hardware to select blinking or
bright backgrounds.  Instead, Windows and OS/2 both display bright
background colors, regardless of the BrightBG or SETDOS /B setting. They do
not provide a way to display blinking characters in windowed mode.
