  I think I can get inside their minds... they feel threatened. They
expect the "police" to turn up one day and rape all their women, and
in that case they *need* a semiautomatic Armalite to fight off the
"police" and protect their... (insert pet insanity).

  I had a workmate who started to collect tinned food because he was
convinced Armageddon was coming and he wanted to survive. I tried to
explain that *if* it came he wouldn't survive. He was a little fat
slob and the starving mob would take it off him. I explained that he'd
do better in the mob, and to read about the Jews who survived Germany.
So he bought a rifle! And his wife left him, sensibly, and so did I.

  I could understand his mind perfectly. Each lunacy fit the others to
make a consistent whole. He was barking crazy! The poor bastards feel
so threatened by this civilised Australia of ours that they stockpile
food and buy SLRs to "protect" ... what? Anyone with an SLR is crazy -
it's that simple.

  The more I look at Anarchy, the better I like the idea. I saw in the
paper on Sunday that the Australian Health bill for next year is
expected to be $36,000M! That's $6,000 for every family in Australia.
Who the hell is running up these incredible bills? Who are these other
sickly bastards I'm propping up?
